Holistic Approach in San Diego

San Diego California's Premier Treatment Facility

Combining healing modalities allows us to recognize, address, and heal the individual on a much deeper and complete level than the traditional detox. We address the individual’s energetic, physical, emotional, and mental imbalances to give them lasting and permanent sobriety!

Mind

By creating a deeper support system within the sober community and reshaping a person’s mindset and outlook on recovery, outside recovery meetings are essential to maintaining long-term sobriety. Coastal Detox of Southern California believes that building this connection with like-minded sober peers in the early stages of sobriety allows clients to engage in healthy relationships that will continue after treatment. Not only do clients have the opportunity to attend recovery meetings outside the facility, but panels of sober individuals also visit the facility to share their experiences, strength, and hope.
Holistic Approach To Addiction Treatment

We provide a safe, comfortable, and effective environment to our patients.

Body

Physical health and activity is a key component to an individual’s overall well-being. Clients are given the choice to engage in multiple athletic activities ranging from surfing to yoga and are provided with a gym membership for their stay. It is often found that the endorphins released during

physical activity improve a person’s mood and lead to healthier choices throughout the day. With a combination of exercise and healthy meals provided by our chef, the process of regaining physical health can begin with a Holistic Approach.

Emotions

Subconscious belief codes are beliefs we have developed for ourselves to protect ourselves. These are beliefs that may have formed early in childhood. Subconscious beliefs may start from something as simple as a statement from a mother or father or our perception regarding a situation or interaction.

Sometimes these belief codes can be beneficial and are formed for our highest good. For example, as a child, you touch the hot stove while your mother cooks dinner and burn yourself. You believe it is dangerous to touch a stove while cooking. This is beneficial to your well-being.

On the other hand, picture an individual struggling with addiction being told, “Once an addict, always an addict.” This individual will subconsciously believe this to be true, and his path to sobriety will be much more difficult. When subconsciously you think that “an addict is always an addict,” you may consciously want sobriety, but your subconscious mind will not feel safe with the idea of sobriety.
