The process begins with a confidential consultation with a certified interventionist from either Hope Interventions or Coastal Detox. They will assess the situation, the history of substance use, family dynamics, and determine the most appropriate intervention model (e.g., Johnson Model, ARISE Model). The interventionist facilitates the meeting, ensuring the tone remains compassionate yet firm, without devolving into an argument. They manage the conversation, present the proposed treatment plan, and, if the person agrees to enter treatment, the interventionist transports them directly to the facility immediately following the meeting.
